From raw aluminum billet to hand-finished wheel.
Every Forgiato is built in our Los Angeles factory.
Forging
Raw 6061-T6 aluminum billets are heated to precise temperatures and pressed under 10,000+ tons of hydraulic force. This process creates a dense, strong grain structure that gives Forgiato wheels their legendary durability and performance characteristics.
CNC Machining
5-axis CNC machines carve each wheel to ±0.006mm tolerance, removing excess material to reveal the final form. Every curve, angle, and surface is cut with surgical precision using diamond-coated tools and computerized toolpaths.
Hand Finishing
Every surface is hand-polished by craftsmen with decades of experience. Using progressively finer grits and compounds, each wheel achieves a mirror finish that machines alone cannot replicate. This is where art meets engineering.
Surface Treatment
Chrome, brushed, powder coat, or custom paint — applied in our in-house finishing department. Each finish is carefully controlled for adhesion, durability, and appearance. Multiple coats and curing cycles ensure lasting beauty.
Assembly
40+ precision fasteners per wheel. Each piece hand-assembled and torqued to specification. Center caps, valve stems, and hardware are installed with the same attention to detail as the wheels themselves.
Quality Control
Final inspection, balance testing, and packaging. Every wheel is serialized and certified before leaving our facility. We test for structural integrity, balance, and finish quality — only perfect wheels earn the Forgiato name.
