Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our luxury forged wheels.

01 How to Buy

Start by requesting a quote on our website. Tell us what you drive, the look you're going for, and any size or finish preferences. We'll connect you with one of our authorized dealers who specializes in your type of build — whether it's an exotic, a truck, a classic, or anything in between. Your dealer handles pricing, payment, and delivery.

Forgiato sells exclusively through our network of authorized dealers. We don't sell retail directly to consumers. When you request a quote, we match you with the right dealer for your vehicle and build style — we have specialist dealers for exotics, trucks, old schools, luxury sedans, and more. This ensures you're working with someone who knows your platform inside and out.

Our dealers are specialists. A dealer who builds Lamborghinis all day knows exactly what offset, barrel depth, and finish will look right on your car. A dealer who focuses on lifted trucks knows what clears and what doesn't. By working through dealers, you get expert guidance, local support, and professional installation — not just a box of wheels showing up at your door.

Standard production is 4–6 weeks from the time your dealer places the order. This includes engineering, CNC machining, finishing, and quality control. Your dealer can give you a more specific timeline based on your specs and our current production schedule.

The easiest way is to request a quote on our site. We'll match you with an authorized dealer based on your location, vehicle type, and the style of build you're after. Many of our dealers also ship nationwide, so proximity isn't always a requirement — expertise is.

02 Sizing & Fitment

Your dealer and our engineering team work together to determine the optimal size based on your vehicle, intended use, and the look you want. We consider brake clearance, suspension, and overall proportions. You don't need to know your specs — just tell us what you drive and we'll handle the rest.

Virtually all of them — 5x120, 5x114.3, 5x130, 6x135, 8x170, and many more. Every wheel is custom-made to your vehicle's exact specifications, so rare or unusual bolt patterns are not a problem.

Offset is the distance from the wheel's mounting surface to its centerline. It determines how far your wheels sit in or out from the fender. Our engineers calculate the optimal offset for your specific vehicle to maintain proper handling while achieving the stance you want. Your dealer will walk you through the options.

Every set is engineered to fit your exact vehicle. We maintain a database of specs for thousands of vehicles and verify every measurement before production. Your authorized dealer will confirm fitment as part of the ordering process — nothing ships until we're certain it's right.

03 Finishes

We offer a full range: brushed, polished, chrome, anodized, painted, powder-coated, and PVD finishes. Popular options include gloss black, matte black, brushed titanium, and custom color-matched finishes. Your dealer can show you samples and help you choose the right look for your build.

Yes. Provide your vehicle's paint code or a sample through your dealer, and our finishing team will create a precise color match. We test and approve the color before final application.

Both are highly durable when maintained properly. Chrome delivers maximum shine but requires regular cleaning to stay pristine — it carries a 12-month finish warranty. Brushed finishes are more forgiving of daily wear and easier to maintain. Your dealer can recommend the best option based on your climate and driving habits.

Yes — we refinish wheels at our factory. Whether you want to change the color, repair damage, or refresh the finish after years of use, contact your dealer or reach out to us directly. We handle all refinishing in-house to factory standards.

04 Shipping & Delivery

Once your wheels are built, we ship them to your authorized dealer. Your dealer coordinates delivery to you — whether that's picking them up in person, having them shipped to your door, or installing them at their shop. Every set is packaged in custom protective materials to prevent damage in transit.

Yes, we have authorized dealers worldwide and ship globally. Your dealer handles logistics for your region, including any customs documentation or duties. We work with trusted freight forwarders to ensure safe international delivery.

Your dealer will keep you updated on production milestones and shipping. We provide dealers with real-time order tracking through our system so they always know exactly where your build is — from engineering through to delivery.

05 Care & Maintenance

Soft soap and water with a soft cloth — that's it. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots. For polished surfaces, apply aluminum polish periodically. Avoid automatic car washes — the brushes and recycled water will damage your finish.

No pressure washers. No acid-based or chemical wheel cleaners. No steel wool, abrasive pads, or stiff brushes. No automated car washes. These will damage the finish and void your warranty. See our warranty page for the full care guide.

Weekly is ideal, especially in areas with road salt, coastal humidity, or heavy brake dust. At minimum, rinse them after any exposure to salt or corrosive contaminants. Chrome finishes need the most attention — consistent care is required to maintain warranty coverage.

06 Warranty

3-year structural warranty covering manufacturer defects in forging material or workmanship. 12-month chrome finish warranty covering cracking, peeling, or bubbling from manufacturing errors. The warranty applies to the original purchaser through an authorized dealer. See our full warranty policy for complete details.

All warranty claims go through your authorized dealer — they'll coordinate with us on your behalf. Your dealer will obtain a Return Goods Authorization number, arrange shipping, and keep you updated. If your original dealer is no longer available, contact us at 818-771-9779.

Improper installation, use of pressure washers or chemical cleaners, racing or off-road use, third-party refinishing or modifications, damage from road hazards, and failure to follow our maintenance guidelines. The warranty is also non-transferable — it covers the original purchaser only.
